Flint still needs our help! The effects of the Flint water crisis still exist! Join us Sunday, April 23rd at 4:00 pm, in the Phifer Sanctuary, for a special benefit concert to support the Flint Child Health & Development Fund. Donations made at this concert will directly support the future health of the children of Flint who have been exposed to lead in their water. Suggested donation: $20 or more, at the door.
This special benefit evening will features music of solidarity and hope by the "Gaia Women of the Great Lakes Basin" and members of the folk band "Harmony Bones". Updates on the Flint water crisis from representatives of the Flint Democracy Defense League and the Flint Child Health & Development Fund.
The "Gaia Women of the Great Lakes Basin" is a choir that Lori Fithian and Jean Chorazyczewski belong to. They will be singing the music of Carolyn McDade. The folk band "Harmony Bones" features Laz Slomovits, Eric Fithian, Tom Voiles and Linda Teaman.
