With the exception of the 9th grade Coming of Age class, registration is free and open to all youth. Click on the link above to register your child.

Nursery (infant through 2 year olds)

nurserygraphicDoes your nursery-aged child like to pretend to be a butterfly,  play with play-dough, listen to guitar playing, jump down steps,  go down a slide, look for treasures, make musical shakers, or go outside?  Whether your child enjoys playing alone or playing with other toddlers, we strive to make the youngest attendees of the UUAA feel happy, loved and secure.  Please stop by the Nursery and see what we are up to on Sunday mornings.

Preschool (3 and 4 year olds)

rockinghorseWe Are Many, We Are One:   Based on the philosophy that young children learn about religion through relationships, this program encourages children to use their minds, bodies, and emotions to develop their sense of identity and self-esteem within the Unitarian Universalist community and the world..

butterflyExperiences with the Web of Life:  Invites children into exploration of the Unitarian Universalist principle of respect for the interdependent web of all existence. Fosters an awareness of the interdependence of all life and our place in the web of life, a sense of wonder and awe, an awareness of and comfort with change and growth of living things, a respect for and enjoyment of nature, and a desire to protect the environment. Children will often go outside to visit our land.

 

Second Grade/Third Grade

girlblowingbubblesPeace-makers: This curriculum focuses on the development of peaceful ways to communicate with others and to resolve conflict. Children learn about and practice good communication skills. They also learn about conflict and ways to manage it. Stories, interactive activities, role playing and skits are the mainstay of this curriculum.

 

 

Fourth Grade/Fifth Grade4-5graphic

earthBibleodeon:  This curriculum presents stories of Hebrew and Christian scriptures, from a Unitarian Universalist perspective. Children explore connections between Biblical events and Unitarian Universalist principles and values, between Biblical ideas and their own lives.
