Here are some details that I hope clear things up: </div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small"><ul><li>Our Alpha House team is asking if a group can cook dinner for just one day, not for a full week. Since we have four host weeks, that gives interested groups 28 separate options for dates. All of the other meals of the host weeks will continue to be covered by the regular Alpha House process - many, many volunteers donating individually, orchestrated by Sandy Eyl. (Host week dates are below.)</li><li>We're trying to organize collective cooks in advance, so that Sandy can plan them into the schedule before releasing the SignUp Genius. Also, that gives groups plenty of time to figure out if and when they want to do their cook, and ask members to hold the date.</li><li>Most groups holding collective cooks so far have covered the costs of ingredients themselves, but it's also possible to get reimbursement from the Alpha House fund, which is raised by congregants. </li><li>We have an organizing tool for collective cooks to make it easy - created by the first pilot team to cook together back in Feb. 2023. I'll share that with whatever groups express interest. </li></ul></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">With that, I'm off to UUAA to do a collective cook today - bedecked in my ugly holiday sweater!</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">Warmest wishes to all,</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">Joanie (for the Alpha House team)</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small"> </div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote gmail_quote_container"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Thu, Dec 12, 2024 at 4:37 PM Joanie <<a href="mailto:joancparker@gmail.com">joancparker@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr"><div><div style="font-size:small">Hello, wonderful group leaders - </div><div><br></div><div><b>The Alpha House team is organizing for 2025</b>!
