Coming of Sage
Friday mornings, September 17 - November 19, 10:00am - 12:00pm. When we retire we are at the threshold of a new world. It is a time of reflection and new directions. Many of us will live for 20 or 30 more years. In this class, we will harvest the events of our life; examine our changing identities; explore relationships with self and others; visit our Inner Elder, discuss how we can serve; explore surrendering and letting go; and come home to our internal sanctuary. The class is based on the UUA's Age-ing to Sage-ing curriculum and The Second Half of Life: Opening the Eight Gates of Wisdom, by Angeles Arriens. The class, taught by Ann Jones, is limited to 12 and open to those who have retired, preferably over 65.
