If we are to create heaven on earth economic justice must be a corner stone of the foundation. There are places to apply ourselves to this project at every level from support of grassroots community organizing to redirection of our planet's largest economic institutions. In collaboration with the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee's Justice Sunday project, this service, will also draw on the work of Raymond Baker in his book Capitalism's Achilles Heel.

"The Israel/Palestine Conflict: History, Current Situation, Hope for Peace". Speaker: David Shtulman The Israel/Palestine conflict is a tale of competing and very different narratives, each with its own history and set of facts. Peace will be found not in competing versions of the past, but in the willingness of the present participants to envision a future that includes two states living alongside one another with a shared goal of a better life for all the inhabitants of the region.

David Shtulman, Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Greater Ann Arbor, has been engaged in Israel/Palestine, Jewish/Christian and Jewish/Muslim Dialogues for more than 25 years. He will provide a brief overview of the conflict and his thoughts on the prospects for peace and engage in a discussion with the audience. For more information, please contact Brandy Sinco.
