The First Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Ann Arbor, Michigan (UUAA) – a dynamic and caring community – is in search of an Acting Coordinator of the Membership Journey. A more detailed position description is available here.
The individual hired for the one-year Acting role will be eligible for permanent hire, dependent on assessment, fit, and institutional needs.
Our community is the largest Unitarian Universalist congregation in the state of Michigan and a leading voice regionally and nationally in furthering the work of community-building and justice. UUAA is ready for a creative and collaborative full-time Acting Coordinator to guide the community’s work in support of our congregants’ membership experiences. The tasks for this position require working with multiple lay committees/teams, who would partner with the Acting Coordinator in accomplishing core tasks.

Salary range: $58,000-62,000/annum full-time, dependent on the applicant’s qualifications and experience, plus benefits and reasonable moving expenses, if hired full-time and currently living outside of metro-Ann Arbor. Start date: October 1, 2023. This position may be filled flexibly as full-time or part-time, depending on the needs of our preferred candidate.
