Dear Social Justice Leaders,
The SJC/VSC team is organizing a Social Justice Fairduring the Social Hour on September 21, which will take place both beforeand after the services. This date coincides with Newcomer Sunday, and weanticipate an increase in attendance from potential new members interested inour groups.
Several groups have expressed a desire to encourage newvolunteers and introduce attendees to the various social justice programsavailable at UUAA. 
 The fair will offer several key opportunities:
 
·        Networking: Connect with like-mindedindividuals and groups to share ideas and collaborate.

·        Visibility: Raise awareness about yourmission and upcoming events while engaging potential supporters.

·        Learning: Gain new perspectives,strategies, and resources from other groups and participants.

·        Inspiration: Draw energy from thededication of fellow advocates and activists.

·        Impact: Show solidarity and support forbroader social justice movements.


This is a valuable opportunity for education, activism,and community-building!

We have two questions for you:

1. Would your group like to staff a table? This wouldrequire having representatives present during both social hours to shareinformation about your group and how others can get involved.

2. Is someone from your group willing to help planthe event?

We will all need to assist in welcoming guests andsetting up the tables. 

 

Please respond to SocialJustice at uuaa.org or Sissely at aol.com with answers by June 1. We need this information to determine the number of tables needed for the event.
