Dear Men's Council,

I'm reaching out on behalf of the Vision Support Committee.  We are working
on putting together a complete list of all groups at UUAA who are currently
meeting/working etc.  We got our initial list from Hannah and the following
is the information we have on your group.  If you could take a few minutes
to look this over and fill in any missing information the best you can, it
would be so helpful for us and the congregation as a whole.  The areas of
special interest to us are:
1. The leader or co-leaders- is the information listed correct
2. The Vision Area or Priority that best fits your group
3. Your meeting schedule
4. Any updates you would like to share

This updated information will also be helpful to update the website (if
needed) for folks looking for something they might be interested in
joining. We are strictly in the information gathering phase and nothing
will be added or changed on the website without your involvement.

Men's Council menscouncil at uuaa.org The UUAA Men's Fellowship is comprised
of UUAA congregants who identify as men and who participate in the
activities sponsored by the Men’s Council.

The UUAA Men’s Fellowship comprises UUAA congregants who identify as men
and who participate in the activities sponsored by the Men’s Council. The
Men’s Council consists of 9 men who serve three-year staggered terms and
are elected by members of the fellowship. The council provides leadership
and support for activities which are designed to enhance friendships,
spiritual growth and positive
community engagement. We have been called an identity group in the past.
Not sure what the best term is. 2nd Sunday Every other Month The Men's
Council members serve staggered 3-year terms which can be renewed once for
a second 3-year term The Chair of the Men's Council changes every year or
every other year. The same goes for other positions such as our
Communications person (web page contact). Therefore, it will be important
to keep contacts updated as they may change often.

There is no fixed group of people that comprise the Men's Fellowship per
se. We think of the Fellowship as anyone who identifies as male and
participates "regularly" in activities sponsored by the Council.
