[menscouncil] Help for an older adult in AA

Hello Men's and Women's Councils,

I am a member of UUAA but don't attend services much. I do attend some women's events.

I am a Social Worker and have an older adult client (lives in AA) who started to hoard things in her apartment after her dog died two years ago. She is a lovely person. She is getting past her grief but is physically unable to clean out her apartment. She has been told that a subsidized apartment will be available for her at another complex by the end of this year and her space needs to be cleaned out.

I am searching for help in cleaning out her apartment. It would have to be a group effort. I have not seen it, but she does describe it as being very cluttered with just paths for her to walk through. She tells me the dumpster is close to her apartment. 

Would either of your groups be willing to send out a call to help with this task? I was imagining a handful of people spending half a day. She is embarrassed to let me see it and I am not certain if she would want me to be a part of the group that comes. 

Let me know if this is a possibility.
