[menscouncil] Team-building Opportunity at UUAA: a Collective Cook for Alpha House

Hello, wonderful group leaders -

*The Alpha House team is organizing for 2025*!  We have a busy Alpha House
to support. Not only have they doubled from 6 to 12 families, but they are
hosting a warming shelter during the winter months. Right now, there are 30
mouths to feed each day. Bravo to Alpha House - and bravo to all the folks
at UUAA who contribute every quarter in terms of food, time, or funds.

*Here is why we're reaching out to group leaders today: *Some groups have
come together at either UUAA's kitchen or at a member's home to
collectively cook a meal and simultaneously enjoy precious social time
together. It has proved a great way to get to know new group members, too.
(Sometimes, a number of UUAA friends come together independent of any
group.)

*If YOUR group would like to adopt one of our host-week dates for a
Collective Cook,* here are the dates to choose from (with a special plug
for Saturdays, which are hardest for the team to cover):
January 27 - February 2, 2025
April 7-13, 2025
June 16-22, 2025
Nov. 17-23, 2025

No pressure! If this feels more like a chore than like a party, then no
need to reply.  Or if you want to combine with another group, we can be the
glue to pull it all together.
