[menscouncil] [RESPONSE REQUEST] Approve proposed budget for the 2024 Fall Men's Retreat

Gentlemen,

Tom, Casey, Erik, and Jim have done a tremendous amount of early legwork on
the fall retreat. They already have dates, a location, theme ideas, and -
probably most importantly - a budget proposal.

All of the budget details are in the attached document.

I will point out two highlights:

   - The proposed registration fee for the entire weekend, which includes
   four meals and accommodations, is just $100. This is very attractive and
   should generate good interest in this, our first off-site retreat since
   2019.
   - The rigorous budget shows a shortfall of $870, which we can fund from
   our substantial account balance, currently around $9000.

Please take a look at the attached document. Then reply with a Yay or Nay,
indicating your approval or non-approval to move forward.

You may also reply to the group with any questions you have.

We are doing this via email to (hopefully) gain majority approval on this
plan so that we can talk about it at the Spring Dinner in two weeks. And
even start taking registrations that evening.
