Greetings AAUU Group Leaders from the UUAA Auction Committee,

If you are able please share this with the individuals in your group.

As you probably are aware, the annual auction raises a serious amount of
money for UUAA to do the work of the congregation (click here for auction

This year’s Auction Committee needs you to help us finalize details for the
2024 auction on June 1, from 4-7 pm, and are asking for your help in two
ways.

The theme for this year’s auction is Superheroes, and what we want to bring
forward is that, while some do, NOT ALL superheroes wear capes and masks.
Some used their superpowers to encourage, empower or inspire who you are by
bringing out the best in you. You may have superheroes in your life such as
a teacher, a parent, a friend, an artist or author … you get the idea.

For decorative purposes, we are asking that you:

   1.

   Share the name of your superhero (could be just the first name if you
   wish to respect privacy)
   2.

   A sentence or two about why they are your superhero (*optional*)
   3.

   If it’s not a celebrity but rather someone personal to you, a photo if
   you have one to share
   4.

   Your name (how you would like it to appear with the photo & description
   of their superpower)


Please email your superhero information by Monday, May 27 to:

to the email or put them in the body of the email)

Secondly, we are still in need of individual and/or group donations.  If
you donate as a group, it could be something such as a pride flag from
Kaleidoscope, or a book or piece of art that represents your group.  Your
group can host a themed dinner where people bid to attend.
