Men,
I apologize for missing this meeting. It was a busy weekend. I marked the
calendar for it, but it slipped my mind. This morning (Monday), I sent Mom
off to a short-stay elderly care facility. I will enjoy my first respite
break this year for four nights and look forward to relaxing. A university
professor has invited me to speak to his class of clinical laboratory
science students about the States, its culture, people, healthcare, etc.,
for 90 minutes. I will get ready for it so it won't be a total getaway. I
booked a ticket to return to Ann Arbor in late June. My sister, who lives
and works in Montana, will take my place. Our mom is on the waitlist to get
into a nursing home. We are hoping she will be able to move in by late
summer. If not, I will go to Japan again in the fall.
