Dear Beloved Members & Friends of Our UUAA Community, The health and safety of our community is our top priority, so we are writing to inform you that on May 6, 2022 a member of our community self-reported a positive test result for COVID-19. The last time they were physically on UUAA’s premises was on Thursday, May 5, 2022. Any close contacts who potentially had a higher risk of exposure have been identified and have been notified directly. According to the Washtenaw County Health Department, “if you are not notified directly of an exposure, you are considered low risk – similar to any time a person goes out in any public setting (such as the grocery store) when there is a high level of community transmission. Lower risk individuals should monitor for symptoms and seek testing if they develop symptoms in the 14 days following potential exposure.” This community member who tested positive will only return to UUAA in-person activities following the Health Department’s recommended 10 days of self-isolation, the termination of any/all symptoms, and receipt of a negative COVID-19 test result. All UUAA health and safety protocols - which include our expectation that anyone participating in in-person UUAA activities be vaccinated and boostered, as eligible; universal masking; upgraded HVAC-based bacteria & virus filtration; and, maintenance of social distancing - have been and continue to be in effect on UUAA’s premises. UUAA will be continuing its multiple modalities of community member engagement, which include in-person, live-streaming, and on-demand options. Please know that you are supported in choosing whichever option(s) best fit your and/or your family’s personal health and safety needs. Our staff and UUAA’s COVID-19 Advisory Team are following all CDC and Washtenaw County Health Department recommendations, and we will continue to monitor the health and safety of our community closely. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact the COVID-19 Advisory Team directly at: covidteam at uuaa.org. Sincerely, Rev. Cassandra Hartley, Executive Minister, on behalf of UUAA’s COVID-19 Advisory Team ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ First Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Ann Arbor | 4001 Ann Arbor-Saline Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48103 Unsubscribe news3 at uuaa.org Update Profile | Constant Contact Data Notice Sent by covidteam at uuaa.org powered by Try email marketing for free today!
