Hi all,

We have a wonderful opportunity to learn about *Prison Gerrymandering*, and
how this practice siphons political power away from urban communities
into less-populated rural areas where prisons are located.

Join UUCivs and Voting Access for All Coalition  on *Friday, Sept 24 at
6:30* to watch a 50 minute  documentary, *“Drawing the Line: Inside the
Fight to End Prison Gerrymandering,”* followed by a panel discussion with
the director, activist leaders, and people interviewed in the movie.

The event will be held on Facebook live.  You can join or learn more at the

This very important topic intersects the voting rights and criminal justice
topics of Restorative Justice and UUCivs so we are co-hosting along with a
number of organizations representing communities impacted by our prison
system.
