Life Inside a Snowglobe: Experiencing Uncertainty and Solidity

Life can sometimes feel like we’re living in a snowglobe – with things unsettled and tossed about. Yet, even in a snowglobe some things are fixed and certain. Join us this Sunday as our community meets Sabbatical Minister Rev. Kimberley Debus, and explores the themes of uncertainty, solidity, and the opportunities that a congregation going through a period of sabbatical can experience.

The Sunday collection will be for the benefit of Alpha House Interfaith Hospitality Network. Their mission is to support families experiencing homelessness to build a better future. Checks can be dropped into the Sunday offertory basket on that date. Checks should indicate “SC: Alpha House” in the memo line. Donations can be made throughout the month of September either by mailing a check to UUAA (Attn.: Administrator, 4001 Ann Arbor – Saline Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48103) or by contributing online in Realm.

A PDF version of the order of service will be available each week by Saturday at
