Connecting the Dots Across our Divides
In a time of such deep divisions in our nation, how can we Unitarian Universalists show up in ways that help bridge those divides? UUAA is delighted to host this week special guest storyteller, facilitator, and activist La’Ron Williams, as he helps us reflect on critical UUAA commitments, like Radical Welcome and Anti-Racism/Anti-Oppression. Please join us for this special Sunday.
Sharing the Collection
Sharing the Collection Sunday April 2 will benefit Children’s Literacy Network (CLN). Children’s Literacy Network’s mission is “to design and implement literacy-based programs to provide equitable opportunities for children to develop a love of reading and books. [CLN is] a volunteer-based nonprofit agency in Washtenaw County dedicated to closing the book and reading achievement gap to keep under-resourced students from falling further behind. CLN accomplishes this mission through innovative programming at the early childhood and school-age levels.”
Checks may be dropped in the Sunday collection basket or mailed to UUAA (UUAA, Attn: Administrator, 4001 Ann Arbor–Saline Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48103). Please write “Sharing the Collection – CLN ” in the memo line. Or you may give online via Realm here; scroll to Sharing the Collection.
