Dear UUAA group/team leader,

We hope you can spread the word to your group and ask them to Save the Date!
And secondly, we need your help with a 30-word shout-out about your group.
Here are the details…

A group of congregants and staff are organizing an end-of-year celebration
on Sunday, June 9th, 11:30am - 1:00pm,  designed to celebrate the myriad
contributions made by UUAA’s lay members.

The theme is fun: a fair with an ice cream bar, music, bounce house
(weather permitting), chalice tattoos, crafts, and plenty of other
activities for folks of all ages.

Most importantly, we will be celebrating the contribution of each and every
group and team at UUAA - from the SGD team, to those who build community,
to those who lead social justice efforts, to those who care for us and our
physical plant week in and week out, and more.  In total, there are nearly
70 unique teams with lay members at UUAA, each contributing something
special to our community. We hope your team’s members come - to be
celebrated and to celebrate!

Here’s what else we need from you: we are preparing a rotating slide deck
for the big-screen TV in the Social Hall to play on June 9th with a slide
for each of the nearly 70 teams/groups. Your group will have a slide. We’d
like to share up to 30 words - more of a "shout out" than a report. You
choose the 30 words - we’ll take it from there.  Please send them to
Vision at uuaa.org by May 15, 2024.
