Dear RJUUAA members,
This message is to specifically ask if you are interested in attending the:
* National Association of Community and Restorative Justice conference in
Chicago next July 6-9, 2022 *(pre-conference session 7/6). The Conference
theme is: The Gathering: Real Transformation. The Time is NOW. How do we
get there TOGETHER? See link: (
https://nacrj.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=346&Itemid=1677
)
We are asking for your input now because we want to get discounted
registration fees which: requires a minimum of 4 people + early bird
registration deadline of *12/1/2021.* The registration fee would be
$275/person. If you are interested in attending, PLEASE LET ME KNOW NO
LATER THAN NOVEMBER 15.
Currently we know that the following people are interested: Kathy,
Carolyn, Mary Ann, Priscilla, Donna (which means we already meet the 4
person minimum to qualify for the discount). Kathy will find out what kind
of deposit is needed to hold our conference reservation
The NACRJ conference will call for juried sessions. We may be interested
in offering one. We will let the group know when NACRJ calls for papers.
Some ideas posed are: MA - as a grassroots organization - how we organized,
etc.; Returning citizens RJ project; generating interest in congregational
involvement in restorative justice.
*REMEMBER - PLEASE LET ME KNOW NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 15* if you are
interested in attending the NACRJ Conference in Chicago next July. Check
out the link above for more information on the conference.
Have a great September and we will see you in a couple of weeks! Take care.
