MEET HENRY MCLENDON

Come and meet Henry McClendon on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Noon ET
(UTC-4) when he’ll be interviewed by award-winning journalist Kerra Bolton.

We'll also show an episode from our award-winning film series: DETROIT
RISING: HOW THE MOTOR CITY BECOMES A RESTORATIVE CITY.

Henry is changing Detroit — sparking a Black-led, grassroots movement that
has implemented restorative practices in nearly every sector of the city to
repair harm, restore relationships, and build social capital

We need hope now more than ever as communities in the United States and
around the world face a constellation of public health, economic,
political, and social crises.

Henry McClendon, a pastor and community leader in Detroit, has a powerful
story to share about how his father’s forgiveness of the young men who
attacked him sparked a restorative practices revolution in the city.

We’ll talk to Henry about his experiences, and gather in optional small
groups to discuss how we can bring restorative practices to our homes,
families, workplaces and communities.

Tickets for this 75-minute event are $10.
