[RestorativeJustice] Hoping for your participation at the Feb. 6th Gathering Table

Hi all,



Please join us if you can.  This is a great opportunity to connect and have
a say and find out what we're all
doing.  It's a good opportunity for community.  I've highlighted
registration.  Click, sign on and you will receive
the link.  As you can see below are the questions we will be discussing.


 We are one week away from our Feb. 6th Gathering Table on Anti-Racism and
Anti-Oppression (2:30pm-4:00pm via zoom).  This is an important moment for
us to connect across all of the groups of our congregation to:



   1. hear each other’s experiences and hopes for
   anti-oppression/anti-racism at UUAA
   2. inspire and energize each other in this work
   3. gather what is shared as feedback to the AR/AO groups at UUAA

Most of our time will be spent listening to each other through two
break-out sessions. Here are the questions to ponder in advance:


Break-out 1 on Individual Perspectives and Actions:

- What does anti-racism/anti-oppression (AR/AO) mean to you?

- What AR/AO issues would you like to get involved in?

- What personal barriers do you face to get involved in that issue?


Break-out 2 is on Group Action:

- Where do you think UUAA work in anti-racism/anti-oppression (AR/AO) has
been impactful?

- What are some examples of effective UUAA partnerships with marginalized
communities?

- Where do we have opportunities for improvement?


Clearly, the deeply experienced members of our many social justice groups
have important thoughts to share in this discussion, so we hope many of
your group are there to share experiences and to draw insights from those
from other slices and perspectives within the congregation.
