Tom captured the gist of our two Retreat planning meetings. A few other
notes to share:
• What to do about T-shirts?
• Retreat is 25 years old. At some point (in lodges? whole group?), we
should discuss what the retreat should look like going forward:
◦ Should we use the term "retreat"? The word "Men's"?
◦ Should we change the format? How and why?
◦ Should this be a church-wide activity day? Like community hikes.
◦ Should we stay on campus or go to a different location?
◦ One-day or full weekend?
◦ What has worked well = what do we want to keep? What do we want to drop?
◦ In the past 25 years, which other church initiatives have started up, but
not lasted until today?
◦ Tom's key question: Who are we serving by offering the "retreat" in its
current format?
Also, should we invite board members to join us for dinner? Comp them the
dinner?

2: in-gathering
2:30-4. Lodge
4-5 Choice time
5:15 Group picture

After: 2nd lodge

At the retreat: Promote the next Saturday's men's breakfast.
