Detour to UUAA
The Ann Arbor-Saline Road and Ellsworth Road intersection is completely closed for a hill cut and reconstruction by the Washtenaw County Road Commission. The road closure began on August 1 and it is expected to last for approximately 8 weeks. People will have to use the detour route to come to church through September.
SPECIAL NOTE for Monday August 24 and Tuesday August 25 ONLY
For these two days only, the road crew are going to be closing our Ellsworth Road driveway to install a culvert. They will be temporarily opening our Ann Arbor-Saline Road entrance. The only way to access UUAA on Monday and Tuesday will be coming on Ann Arbor-Saline Road from the Wagner Road side. On Wednesday August 26 they will be closing our Ann Arbor-Saline Road entrance, opening back up the Ellsworth Road entrance and reverting back to the regular detour using Ellsworth Road as the only way to access UUAA. Please scroll to the very bottom of this page for a special detour map just for Monday August 24 and Tuesday August 25.
Detour instructions for all days *EXCEPT* Monday August 24 and Tuesday August 25:
Coming from Ann Arbor using Ann Arbor-Saline Road:
- turn left from Ann-Arbor-Saline Road onto S. Maple Road
- turn right on Ellsworth Road (unpaved)
- turn left into UUAA parking lot
Coming from Ann Arbor using Wagner Rd:
- continue straight south on Wagner Road as it becomes Ann Arbor-Saline Road
- using the roundabout, turn left onto Textile Road
- turn left onto Maple Road
- turn left onto Ellsworth Road (unpaved)
- turn left into UUAA parking lot
