Scrip 205: Using Scrip to Pay Your Helpers

It seems that these days we all have helpers—people who help with childcare, eldercare, housework, lawns and gardens, rides, and so on. How do you pay them? Would you consider donating to the congregation at the same time? It’s easy to do with scrip. Just ask the person where they shop, and whether they would consider accepting gift cards for those places in lieu of cash or a check. You might even mention that they are helping you help your church.
