Sharing the Collection – A Brighter Way
| Month of October, 2026 |
| A Brighter Way is our Sharing the Collection recipient for the whole month of October, beginning with the in-person and online collections on Sunday, October 4. A Brighter Way helps formerly incarcerated people living in Washtenaw County to build a stable, successful, and fulfilling life. They support these returned citizens by forging strong relationships with our mentoring teams, community resources, and committed advocates. The benefits are a richer community, reduced recidivism, and increased public safety. A Brighter Way fosters a welcoming, stigma-free community in Washtenaw County that supports and engages all residents, including those who have experienced incarceration. During the month of October, we encourage you to donate to A Brighter Way. Checks should be made out to UUAA, with “Sharing the Collection” or “A Brighter Way” on the memo line. Donations can be made throughout the month by contributing online or by mailing a check to UUAA, Attn: Administrator, 4001 Ann Arbor-Saline Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48103. |
