April 22 Men’s Dinner
Saturday, April 22, from 5:30-8:30 pm at the church.
Join us for an evening of good food, stimulating conversation, and community building. Our panel discussion and breakout tables will focus on the key findings from Richard Reeves recent book, Of Boys and Men: Why the Modern Male is Struggling, Why It Matters, and What to Do about It. It’s not necessary to read the book in order to engage in the discussion. Of course, if you have a chance, being at least familiar with the book may deepen and enrich our conversations. You may be able to find it at your local library or as a free ebook loan on Libby/Overdrive or similar. Or you can purchase it on Bookshop, thereby benefiting your local independent bookseller.
Dinner will be provided by the Produce Station, with a cash bar. The cost is $35. Scholarships are available, and we will help defray the cost of child care. We’d love to see you there!
Note: this dinner is not limited to UUAA members. If you have a friend or colleague who has an interest in this topic, please invite them to register.
