Grief Support Group – Fall 2024

Pastoral Care will be offering a Grief Support Group starting in the fall. A small pilot program has been running the past few months, and we are now ready to form another group. The group will meet once a month, by Zoom. To gauge interest and determine the schedule, please fill out this short form to indicate your preferences. The time will be a space for being together in grief and offering support by our presence and deep listening, facilitated by rev. theresa. We will have a chalice lighting, some centering words or music, and then each person present will have an opportunity to share what is on their heart that particular day.  After each has a time of uninterrupted sharing, we may respond to each other’s stories. As Unitarian Universalists we will ground our sessions in love and respect. Remember you are not alone in your grief.
