Sunday October 19th
Vanquishing Evil: A UU Honoring of the Hindu New Year
Two services at 9:30am and 11:30 am; in person and online at www.uuaa.org/service
In a time when so much around us can feel off track, it is possible to understand actions that we don’t like or that we consider as causing harm as fundamentally bad or evil. How does the Hindu tradition relate to the concept of evil and how might we Unitarian Universalists relate to this concept? Join us this Sunday as we honor the Hindu new year, known as Diwali, and further explore the themes connected to this holiday.
We welcome back to Ann Arbor guests musician, singer/songwriter Tret Fure, who will provide music during the service.
There is a social hour following each service. Join us for coffee and conversation; Learn more about how you can engage with our UUAA activities.
A PDF version of the order of service is available by Saturday of each week at https://uuaa.org/oos [You can use the electronic version to help UUAA with our Zero Waste goal.]
