Sunday Nov 9th
Beautiful and Broken, the World as it is
Two services at 9:30am and 11:30 am; in person and online at www.uuaa.org/service
The world is so beautiful – and in the beauty we see the fullness of what is broken. Our living tradition invites us to answer the call of beauty, which is justice. Join us this Sunday as we dive into that invitation – that tug toward wholeness, even (especially) when everything feels broken – and the tools that love and beauty offer us as we hold this work in community. Special guest, Rev. Mary Katherine Morn, President of the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC), will share stories of the remarkable justice work UUSC partners are engaging in around the world with the support of our UUSC members.
We will also recognize Veterans Day, acknowledging those among us who have served in the military for this country. The Chalice Bells will offer musical gifts this morning.
There is a social hour following each service. Join us for coffee and conversation; learn more about how you can engage with our UUAA activities.
A PDF version of the order of service is available by Saturday of each week at https://uuaa.org/oos [You can use the electronic version to help UUAA with our Zero Waste goal.]
