Seeds to Plant to Feed Guests at Your Table
The Unitarian Universalist Service Committee raises funds each year to water these “seeds”. The “gardens” are in Philadelphia, Haiti, Honduras, El Salvador, and worldwide where UUSC is nurturing the work of our partner organizations to strengthen the human rights of their people. Victoria Sirois, at AsylumPride House in Philadelphia offers sanctuary to LGBTQ + asylum seekers with transitional housing and case management services. Please stop by the UUSC table on Sunday to learn about the other three organizations that are featured this year.
You can water the efforts of Victoria at AsylumPride House and other partner organizations by Joining UUSC for an annual fee of $150, which is then doubled by Shelter Island UU Church in New York or contribute any amount you wish to the Disaster Relief Fund. Keep the “US” in the UUSC.
