Children’s Chapel Kindergarten – 5th grade

The opportunity to worship together is one of the foundations of a spiritual life, grounded in UU principle and sources. We believe that music is an integral part of worship and, in that spirit, the SGD Program and Music Ministries at the UUAA are delighted to host a series of Music & Worship Children’s Chapels that will take place approximately once a month during the 11:30am service. K-5th graders will begin in the Sanctuary for the Time for All Ages and then head to the Jackson Chapel for a child-centered worship service. Led by Music and SGD staff and volunteers, these chapels will explore the interplay between music and spirituality, provide opportunities to participate in ritual and storytelling, and help kids develop meaningful relationships to our faith tradition and to each other. Chapels will take place in lieu of K-5th grade classes. Families are welcome to attend together!
