ROOM and ZOOM – Khasi Hills School Year Kick-Off Event

Learn about the rural village elementary school in the
Khasi Hills of Northeast India where for over 20 years
members of UUAA have sponsored 100 students every
year. Learn all the good a $50 sponsorship does! Over the years, UUAA’s
Sponsor-a-Student Program has helped students, but it’s also helped build
classrooms, a school toilet, a small church, and a playground; it has
provided books and supplies; and it has supplemented teachers’ meager
salaries. At the presentation, you’ll see pictures of what a difference the
program has made to the students, the school, and the town. Join us!
