ROOM and ZOOM – Solidarity Circles Training

This three-hour training will prepare interested UU members to consider committing to becoming a member of a Solidarity Circle for an individual who has been released from prison and is returning to society. The training is led by UU Minister Rev. Allison Farnum, director of UU Prison Ministry of Illinois (UUPMI) and Jimmy Miller, who shares his lived experience of reentry and of being a Solidarity Circle leader in a UU congregation. After the training, participants will be invited to apply for circle member membership through an established UUPMI process.
