At the June 18 worship service, we hosted Danielle Todd, executive director of Make Food Not Waste, a Detroit-based organization that weaves together climate justice and anti-racism/anti-oppression, two of UUAA’s Vision Priority Areas. Since then, our group has volunteered at MFNW, transforming food slated for landfill into delicious meals for those in need—and we plan to continue building this relationship!
