Food Justice: Spring VegFest!

VegMichigan is a nonprofit group that promotes the health, environmental, and ethical benefits of a plant-based diet, and VegFest is one of their best methods of getting the word out. This free festival takes place on Sunday, June 4, at Sheds 5 and 6 in Detroit’s Eastern Market, offering cooking demos, speakers, dozens of restaurants and vendors, a kid zone, and lots of free samples.
