Food Justice: The Farm Bill (AGAIN!)

“The farm bill connects the food on our plates, the farmers and ranchers who produce that food, and the natural resources—our soil, air and water—that make growing food possible.” There is so much contained in the US Farm Bill, from nutrition (think SNAP benefits for the poor) to crop insurance, from forestry to energy, and much, much more. The current bill was enacted in 2018 and expires this year.
