Palestine Aid Society and UUs for Justice in the Middle East Present: “When I Saw You”

Please join us for a Sunday afternoon film presentation curated by the Palestine Aid Society. Written and directed by Palestinian filmmaker Annemarie Jacir, “When I Saw You” tells the story of 11-year-old Tarek’s search for freedom and longing to be reunited with his father. Tarek and his mother Ghaydaa are among the latest wave of refugees displaced to refugee camps in Jordan during the 1967 war. Tarek runs away and embarks on a journey full of adventure, love, and humor that changes his life and the lives of the people he meets. Watch the trailer here.
