Food Justice Speakers | Produce Sharing

Sunday, June 15, Speakers at the 10:30 am service, produce sharing in the Social Hall

On Sunday, June 15, the UUAA Food Justice Team welcomes two speakers representing farm stops for the Social Justice Connection. Tess Rian from Argus Farm Stop and Patrick Zieske from Agricole Farm Stop in Chelsea will discuss how their stores boost produce sales for local farmers and provide a resource for local foods to customers, while helping address food insecurity and food access in Washtenaw County. Stop by our tables after the service to chat and look at their handouts.

This will also be the kick-off Sunday for our produce exchange. If you have excess from your garden, drop it off and/or take home some produce dropped off by others. For more information: foodjustice@uuaa.org.
