Sponsor a Child for the Holidays 2024

Community Action Network (CAN) supports underserved children in Ann Arbor. This year they will help provide holiday gifts for 250 children so their families can focus on basic needs like rent and food. Children in 5th grade and below will receive two gifts they need and two gifts they want that total around $150. Teens in 6th grade up to age 17 will receive up to three gift cards totalling $150. 

By November 1, UUAA will be given wishlists made specifically by each child. Throughout November, you shop for the child/ren you/your group are sponsoring. Unwrapped gifts need to be brought to UUAA November 24 or December 1. UUAA will drop off the presents to CAN by December 7.CAN will then wrap the packages and get them to the families before the holiday!
