Spring Equinox Celebration
Sunday, March 23, 1:30pm – 3:30pm, UUAA hiking trails and Grove Firepit
Attend a family-friendly observance of Spring around the bonfire in the Grove Firepit to share in meditation and chanting. Bring a reading, poem, or song to share if you wish. Meet at the front entry of UUAA at 1:30pm; latecomers, use the trail map to find the grove!
The spring equinox is when the length of daylight and nighttime are in balance. This is a time of balance for rebirth and growth often celebrated as Eostre or Ostara. Afterwards, the days will grow longer until the longest day, summer solstice.
