Staff Transition: James Jandro’s Departure from the Staff Team

With some grief at our loss, we must share that James Jandro, UUAA’s Membership Coordinator, has been hired by the Michigan Democratic Party (MDP) as a full-time Regional Organizing Director, focusing on statewide campus outreach for the Michigan Democratic Party. James’ last day on staff will be Sunday, May 10, 2026. Recognizing that political organizing is a passion of James’, and good and important work to be engaged in, while we are sad to lose James from our staff team we send him to the MDP cheering him on for every success in that new role. Please take the time between now and May 10 to let James know, in writing or in person, your (and our collective) appreciation for the good work he has been helping organize and lead on behalf of our congregation. We will miss you, James, and hope that you and your beautiful family will stay well-connected with all of us here at UUAA!
