Sunday June 8th
Sunday June 8th, The Road Will Be Muddy and Rough: A Multi-generational Bridging Service; One Service at 10:00 am, in person or online at https://www.uuaa.org/service. A social hour follows at 11:30 am in the social hall.
We sing in a favorite hymn that the road will be muddy and rough but we’ll get there. As we honor those who are on the road towards something new or different, we acknowledge the challenges in the uncertainty of transitions, and recognize the joy that we might find when we get there. We’ll honor the YRUU graduating seniors in their bridging ritual and we will also hold space for anyone in the community who is facing a significant change in their life.
After the service we will celebrate all the accomplishments of the past year with an ice cream social hosted by the Vision Support Committee. And we will honor Rev. Mandy’s time with us as Acting Director of the Membership Journey. Thank you Rev. Mandy!
A PDF version of the order of service is available by Saturday of each week at https://uuaa.org/oos [You can use the electronic version to help UUAA with our Zero Waste goal.]
