Sunday Nov 2nd
Et lux perpetua (A service of remembrance)
Two services at 9:30am and 11:30 am; in person and online at www.uuaa.org/service
Join us this Sunday for our annual All Souls Day Service of Remembrance. We will honor those from the UUAA community who have died in the past 2 years, and hold sacred space for those present to build a memory altar, honoring loved ones who are no longer with us. All are invited to bring a picture or memento to add to the altar. Youth are also encouraged to participate in a similar ritual in the All Ages Chapel that will be held during 2nd service. The words, story, and ritual will be interwoven with selections from French composer Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem, offered by the Chalice Singers.
There is a social hour following each service. Join us for coffee and conversation; Learn more about how you can engage with our UUAA activities.
A PDF version of the order of service is available by Saturday of each week at https://uuaa.org/oos [You can use the electronic version to help UUAA with our Zero Waste goal.]
