Community of Writers Monthly Meeting

Third Sundays, 1:00pm – 3:00pm, Zoom and Brown Room

Do you like to write? If you would like to meet with a group of others who share a love of writing, come as a guest to one of the monthly gatherings of the Community of Writers. If you like hearing what others write and the positive comments that follow, and you think, “I would like to do that, too,” just let the group know. You may request the Zoom link by emailing Writers@uuaa.org.  We meet on third Sundays at 1:00 pm in person and on Zoom.

Our prompt for our November 16 monthly meeting: In “Living Our Values” and exploring “Radical Welcome,” as explained by one of our members, “I see radical welcome as being open to learning from new congregants in all their glorious diversity, whether it be class, race, neurodiversity, gender, or something else, rather than expecting them to be just like us—to be open to being changed.”  What does radical welcome mean to you? As usual you may write to the prompt or not.
