Community of Writers Monthly Meeting

May 18, 1:00pm – 3:00pm, Brown Room

Do you like to write? If you would like to meet with a group of others who share a love of writing, come as a guest to one of the third-Sunday gatherings of the Community of Writers (CoW). If you like hearing what others write and the positive comments that follow, and you think, “I would like to do that, too,” just let the group know. The Writers have hybrid Zoom and in-person meetings September through May. You may request the Zoom link by emailing writers@uuaa.org. 

Our prompt for May 18: “What would people be surprised to know about you?”

Each one of us is a mystery—until we take time to say “Hi,” or ask “How was your vacation?” But there’’s always more. Is it just the time constraints in our busy lives that prevent us from learning more? Is it our fast food, quick in/quick out culture? Or are we reluctant to share wha’’s deep inside us? As a group of friends in CoW, this prompt is an opportunity to get to know each other better. So tell us something about yourself that would surprise us!
