The Future of Our UUAA Library

The Future of Our UUAA Library

Members of the Community of Writers recently noticed that the UUAA Library shows signs of misuse and neglect from the Covid years. Dan Carleton shares this reflection: “Several months ago I was looking for a quiet place to take a few notes and went into the UUAA library to work. Sitting in a comfortable chair I glanced around the room before starting my work and couldn’t help but notice the state of the library. The shelves were disorganized and overloaded, the simple desk with an old computer was piled with miscellaneous papers, and the room was crowded with old mismatched furniture.” Members of the Community of Writers and others have since formed an ad hoc group that will soon be seeking input from the congregation to try and reach a reasonable course of action for the future of the library.
