UUSC Visitor

This coming Sunday, a Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC) representative, Heather Vickery, will be with us to give the sermon and be available for discussion. She is the coordinator for congregational activism at UUSC offices in Cambridge, MA.

Heather will bring us a clearer idea of the work of UUSC, specifically the ways in which grass-roots partnerships supported by UUSC serve the world. In particular, she will address the LGBTQ+ community and their unique problems as they are displaced from war zones and countries.

As the congregational liaison to UUSC, Quincy Northrup will be at a table in the Social Hall for the next three weeks to answer questions you may have about the work of UUSC and encourage you to support this great organization spreading our shared values of international justice, climate justice, and migration justice.
