Voices from the Holy Land Film Salon: Water Control

Israel severely restricts Palestinians’ access to water in the Occupied Territories, while providing abundant water to settlements in the West Bank. Three short videos and a panel discussion will explore inequalities in water distribution as well as the ecological impact of pollution and over-extraction.
The discussion panel includes:

- Mazin Qumsiyeh, director, Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability
- Eyal Hareuveni, author, Parched: Israel’s Policy of Water Deprivation in the West Bank
- Jeff Halper (moderator), director, Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD)
