Winter Solstice Celebration
Wednesday, December 20, 7:00pm – 8:30pm, Social Hall
Come join the Seasonal Rituals group in celebrating the Winter Solstice. In an Earth-centered tradition, we observe the longest night of the year and the returning of the sun and longer days.
This is a beautiful, meditative ritual that includes periods of complete darkness and silence, as well as the use of lit candles with movement. For these reasons, we welcome adults and older teens, but it is not a good event for younger children.
Please RSVP here so we have adequate seating. Note: There will be no admittance after the ritual has started, so please arrive and be ready by 7:00! Questions? Email infoseasonalrituals@uuaa.org.
