Climate change is the existential issue for our times. We are called to respond, with a religious perspective, to the broad-reaching social justice issues that climate change creates in our community and our world. In the long range vision our congregation created together (see A Congregational Vision) we named climate justice and environmentalism as priority work to take on as a whole community. We set goals to lower our carbon footprint, work toward Zero Waste, expand our climate justice awareness and more. We are working on re-certification as a "Green Sanctuary" congregation.
